KISS OF LIFE Rises to No. 2 on K-POPIT BOARD Ahead of August Comeback

KISS OF LIFE has shot back into the spotlight ahead of its August comeback, climbing into the Top 2 of the K-POPIT BOARD global rankings after sitting outside the Top 10 just a day earlier.

According to K-POPIT BOARD, the K-POP analytics index, KISS OF LIFE ranked No. 2 on the July 7 Global Rise Chart with a Power Index (PWR_GL) score of 53.4. The group had been outside the Top 10 until the previous day before jumping to second place. KISS OF LIFE also ranked No. 2 on the domestic rise chart with a Power Index (PWR_KR) score of 58.8. The Power Index combines data from music charts, social media activity and news coverage to measure an artist's overall momentum.

The sharp rise followed the surprise release of a comeback spoiler video on July 6. Posted through the group's official social media accounts, the teaser showed a puddle evaporating under the summer heat before the words "DON'T LET THEM SEE YOU SWEAT" appeared on screen.

Although the video lasted only a few seconds, it immediately fueled speculation about the group's next concept. Fans pointed to the bold slogan and summer imagery as signs that KISS OF LIFE is preparing another confident, performance-driven release, a style that has become closely associated with the group.

Excitement has been especially high because the comeback comes only four months after "Who is she," which earned praise for its Y2K-inspired sound and polished styling. Many fans welcomed the quick return, with comments describing KISS OF LIFE as "coming back to own the summer" and "the group to beat every summer." Some also noted that the timing, shortly after the group's third anniversary, made the announcement even more meaningful.

A handful of fans expressed concern about the members' packed schedule, but those voices were largely outweighed by excitement as the teaser spread across X, Instagram and online communities.

The group has yet to reveal the album title or release date, with more details expected through future teasers. Even so, the first comeback hint was enough to push KISS OF LIFE back up the K-POPIT BOARD rankings, showing how quickly anticipation is building ahead of its August return.
