Comic action film "OK! MADAM: BON VOYAGE" (Okay Madam 2) has released 12 press stills ahead of its summer opening, teasing a bigger, breezier follow-up to the 2020 hit. This time, Uhm Jung-hwa trades her small twisted-doughnut shop for the open sea, reprising her role as a former top-tier agent who gets pulled back into the field when a luxury cruise is hijacked.

Directed by Lee Chul-ha, "OK! MADAM: BON VOYAGE" opens in theaters across South Korea on August 12. The film follows Mi-young, a former legendary agent now living a quiet life, whose family vacation on a high-end cruise turns into a hostage crisis in the middle of the ocean. Where the first film staged its action inside an airplane, the sequel moves the setting to a luxury cruise ship, expanding the scale on the water.

The new stills lean on the familiar chemistry between Mi-young (Uhm Jung-hwa) and her husband Seok-hwan (Park Sung-woong), a couple juggling family life and old secrets. Other images show Mi-young happily boarding the cruise for the wedding of Hyun-min (Bae Jung-nam) and getting pulled onstage for a surprise magic show at the suggestion of magician Ji-hoon (Ryeoun).

The mood shifts fast once Anya (Choi Soo-young), the leader of a criminal organization, boards the ship. As the cruise falls into chaos, Mi-young snaps back into agent mode, her look sharpening as she moves to take control of the situation.

The sequel also builds out its ensemble. Seok-hwan, a former desk-job employee at South Korea's National Intelligence Service, teams up with Sun-ah (Park Jin-joo), the head of the Eastern Venus cruise line, in an unlikely alliance to protect the ship. Mi-young's former partner Chul-seung (Lee Sang-yoon) joins the mix as well, setting up a larger scale of action scenes and comedic team play than the first film offered.

"OK! MADAM: BON VOYAGE" opens in theaters nationwide on August 12.
