KATSEYE Announces Global Release of "WILD HEARTS" Documentary
Global girl group KATSEYE is set to bring its journey to the big screen with the release of its first theatrical documentary, "KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS."
HYBE x Geffen Records announced on July 8 that the film will premiere in limited theaters worldwide beginning Aug. 12. Tickets will go on sale on July 15, while participating countries and theater locations will be announced at a later date.
The documentary arrives ahead of KATSEYE's third EP, "WILD," and follows the members from their time competing on "The Debut: Dream Academy" through their debut and rise as a global pop group. Alongside the group's story, the film also highlights its relationship with their fans, EYEKONS.
"KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS" is set to explore the pressure, challenges, sacrifices, setbacks, and breakthrough moments the members experienced on their path to global success. The film also includes previously unseen footage, fan-submitted videos, and new interviews with the members.
The documentary reunites the creative team behind the Netflix series "Pop Star Academy." It is produced by Interscope Films and Boardwalk Pictures in collaboration with HYBE x Geffen Records, with Emmy-nominated director Nadia Hallgren, serving as director.
A newly released poster shows the six members gathered together in a bedroom setting beneath the tagline, "A Love Letter to the EYEKONS," highlighting the film's focus on the group's bond with its fans.
KATSEYE, who debuted in 2024 through HYBE's multi-home and genre strategy, has continued to expand its global presence with appearances at major festivals including Lollapalooza and Coachella. The group recently won three awards at the 2026 American Music Awards and sold out every date of its upcoming "THE WILDWORLD Tour" ahead of its third EP, "WILD," release on Aug. 14.
