K-POP boy group ATEEZ is drawing a fresh wave of attention in South Korea, powered by member San's killing-part choreography and a headline festival slot in Europe. The group now sits at No. 1 on a leading global K-POP analytics index, with sharp gains in fandom activity and media coverage over the past day.

According to K-POPIT BOARD, a global K-POP analytics platform, ATEEZ posted a Global Power Index (PWR_GL) score of 62 on July 10, ranking first overall. The Power Index combines results from music charts worldwide, social media activity, and news coverage into a single score.

Fandom reaction, a metric based on comments under official artist posts and mentions of the fandom name, jumped 30.4 percent in a single day. Instagram hashtag mentions for the group climbed 25.6 percent over the same period. Media mentions, which track how often the artist appears in domestic press, scored a high 98.

The surge appears tied to ATEEZ's appearance at Rock in Roma, a major music festival held in Rome on July 8 local time. The group performed a live set of about 50 minutes, adding to the energy on-site.

ATEEZ is currently promoting "Bad," the title track of its 14th EP "GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5," released on June 26. The biggest talking point has been San's choreography near the end of the stage. In a widely shared clip from SBS "Inkigayo," San wore a white sleeveless top and delivered a controlled chest-popping move on the beat. The look leaned on his muscular frame and a relaxed, sultry expression, pulling viewers in.

The group also announced on July 8 that it will release its fifth Japanese single on July 29. The title track is a Japanese-language version of "Bad." The single carries six tracks in total, including two new songs, "Seeker" and "HIGHER," along with instrumental versions of each track.
