IU and Lee Jong-suk Split After 4 Years of Dating

Singer-actress IU and actor Lee Jong-suk have broken up. The couple ended their relationship after four years of public dating.

On July 10, IU's agency EDAM Entertainment told KPOPIT that "the two have parted ways" and "have decided to remain good colleagues."

IU and Lee Jong-suk first met in 2012 as co-hosts of SBS music program "Inkigayo." The two stayed close as colleagues for a decade before becoming a couple in 2022. Their relationship had been one of the K-entertainment industry's most closely followed since they went public.

Lee Jong-suk is preparing for the release of the Disney+ original series "The Remarried Empress." He also recently signed on to star in "Lee Seob's Romance," a live-action adaptation of the popular Naver web novel.

IU is set to hold a concert in September at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium.
