LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae) officially launched their second world tour, "PUREFLOW," with two sold-out concerts at Incheon's Inspire Arena on July 11 and 12.

As South Korea endured weekend temperatures exceeding 33 degrees, thousands of FEARNOTs (LE SSERAFIM's fandom) escaped the heat inside Incheon’s Inspire Arena. From early morning, fans traveled from across the country by shuttle bus and public transportation to the venue, located near Incheon International Airport. While Inspire Arena has become a regular stop for major K-POP tours, its distance from central Seoul still makes it one of the industry's less accessible concert venues.

Inside the venue, fans visited the FEARNOT Zone to collect membership-exclusive photocards while merchandise booths offered apparel, light sticks, albums and other tour goods. Although venue maps identified the main attractions, the merchandise booth itself proved surprisingly difficult to locate, leaving some attendees searching for additional directions.

Before the show, fans filled the venue, which doubles as a mall, taking photos, shopping for merchandise and gathering around exchanging photocards. Talking with Camila, a fan from Argentina who has followed LE SSERAFIM since debut, told K-POPIT:

"I love how transparent they are with their fears and worries. They open up about their struggles not just as idols but as humans too."

As the arena darkened, masked dancers resembling those seen in the "CELEBRATION" music video entered through the audience while the instrumental played. Their movements made it feel less like a traditional concert opening and more like guests waiting to enter an exclusive club. As the dancers guided the audience's attention toward the stage, LE SSERAFIM emerged to perform "CELEBRATION," inviting fans into the world of "PUREFLOW" from the very first moments.

"Creatures" followed seamlessly, feeling like an extension of the opening rather than the start of a new performance. It felt as though LE SSERAFIM was welcoming the audience into their world, with a reminder that no matter what road in life had brought you here, this was a place where you could embrace every version of yourself without fear. That message continued through "Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard's Wife" and "PUREFLOW," as dancers gradually removed the masks and disguises they had worn, revealing their true selves. Rather than presenting fear as something to conquer, the opening sequences suggested that it is something to acknowledge, accept, and ultimately walk alongside.

The concert unfolded almost like a film, with each song advancing the group's narrative of learning to live alongside fear rather than letting it dictate their future. Talking about the aim for this tour SAKURA mentioned, "for this tour we aimed to create a movie-watching experience. I think we wanted to express both the bond between our members and the new emotions we felt."

Putting their heavy choreography aside, tracks such as "Need Your Company," "Sonder," and "Trust Exercise" highlighted the group's emotions and chemistry through a much more restrained performance style. The decision to use handheld microphones throughout much of this section also gave the members greater room to showcase their vocals, which sounded noticeably clearer and more confident. For a group that has faced scrutiny over their live singing in recent years, these quieter moments felt particularly important, allowing LE SSERAFIM to let their voices take center stage without relying on spectacle.

Reflecting on the connection they share with their fans, Yunjin said, "The way we look when we are with you, and the joy and happiness we feel when we are together, is truly immense."

Perhaps one of the concert's highlights was its musical arrangements. The live band instrumentation and refreshed versions of songs like "HOT" and "Perfect Night" gave familiar tracks new energy without sacrificing the melodies fans already knew. That momentum continued through "Blue Flame" and "EASY," bridging in LE SSERAFIM's early years with the group's more recent releases.

The girls continued with "1-800-hot-n-fun," which was quickly followed by its recently released successor "Saki." Both songs carried the confident, playful "it girl" energy that has become synonymous with LE SSERAFIM. While the audience response in Incheon felt slightly more reserved compared to some of the group's signature hits, these performances seem likely to find an especially strong audience abroad.

Later in the show, Sakura reflected on how quickly the concert had passed, saying, "Good times seem to pass quickly, while hard times can feel long. For me, the time we have with FEARNOT seems to pass faster than anything else."

LE SSERAFIM continued the next part of the show with some of her classics such as "ANTIFRAGILE," "CRAZY," "UNFORGIVEN" and of course their most recent title track "BOOMPALA." The second Incheon concert marked only the second time the group had performed 'BOOMPALA' together as a complete five-member lineup since its release in May, making the moment especially meaningful for both the members and their fans.

During their final ment, the members reflected on returning to the same venue where they had launched their first-ever world tour a year earlier. Chaewon reassured fans ahead of the upcoming international leg, saying, "We will be gone for a while, but we hope you will wait for us and cheer us on. We will come back safe and sound."

The encore featured "iffy iffy," "No Celestial" and a remix of "Smarter," allowing the members to spend one last moment interacting with fans before leaving the stage. Overall, more than just simply introducing a new setlist, "PUREFLOW" presents LE SSERAFIM as a group that has become increasingly comfortable embracing both its strengths and vulnerabilities. The tour's central message, which is that fear is something to walk alongside rather than overcome, remains consistent from its opening moments all throught the end of the show. Moreover, it seems the five members have let go of previous worries and are full focused ahead with the right here and now.

Following its two-night stop in Incheon, the "PUREFLOW" world tour continues in Japan before expanding to North America in September, Europe in October, and additional Asian cities through November and December.
