Kim Soo-hyun Returns to Social Media After 16-Month Break With BENCH Campaign

Actor Kim Soo-hyun has returned to social media for the first time in roughly 16 months. His comeback signals a first step back into public activity after a long pause.

On July 15, Kim Soo-hyun shared several photos on his social media from an ad shoot for the Philippine clothing brand BENCH. In the images, he holds a large bouquet of flowers and smiles brightly for the camera.

The post follows his return to official work on July 14, when he took part in filming a commercial and photo shoot for BENCH. It was his first official activity in about 16 months. A representative for the brand also drew attention by posting his photos on social media with the caption, "He is back with the BENCH family."

Kim Soo-hyun stepped away from the industry in March last year after being caught up in claims that he had dated the late Kim Sae-ron while she was a minor. His side acknowledged that the two had been in a relationship but denied that any part of it took place when she was underage.
