Disney+ Drops First Look at Lee Dong-wook in 'A Shop for Killers Season 2'
Lee Dong-wook is back with a gun in his hand and a colder look in his eye. On July 16, King Kong by Starship released a set of behind-the-scenes stills from the poster shoot for the Disney+ original series "A Shop for Killers Season 2" (Killerdeurui Syopingmol Sijeun2), in which the actor reprises his role as Jung Jin-man.
The series follows Jung Jin-man, who returns from the dead and steps back into the world of contract killers. After a brutal handover, he teams up with his niece Jung Ji-an, played by Kim Hye-jun, the shopping mall's new head, to strike back at the global syndicate known as Babylon. The first season drew a wide international audience, and the sequel promises a larger world and more genre thrills.
In the new stills, Lee Dong-wook signals Jung Jin-man's return with a single look. He shifts easily between the low-key, mysterious uncle and a scarred killer with a heavy past. The images of him holding a gun carry the most weight, hinting at the stylish action sequences still to come.
Lee played the mysterious uncle and former mercenary in the first season, drawing strong reactions from viewers. He gave the character emotional weight while delivering charged, high-energy action, and fans have been waiting to see what he does with the role this time.
"Bloodhounds of the Shopping Mall Season 2" also stars Kim Hye-jun, Cho Han-sun, Keum Hae-na, Kim Min, Jung Yoon-ha, Hyun Ri, Masaki Okada and Lee Tae-young. The show premieres on Disney+ on Wednesday, July 22, with the first two episodes, then rolls out two new episodes every Wednesday for a total of eight.
