"Saving our energy isn't what BOYNEXTDOOR or ONEDOOR does."

The line came less than 20 minutes into BOYNEXTDOOR's concert, but it ended up describing the rest of the night. Once the members asked fans to stand, few people sat down again as chants, singalongs and light sticks filled KSPO DOME during the final Seoul stop of "BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR 'KNOCK ON Vol.2' IN SEOUL" on July 19.

The three-day run marked the beginning of the group's first world tour and showed how much BOYNEXTDOOR has grown since its first solo concerts last year. After taking on bigger stages, including Lollapalooza Chicago, and releasing its first full-length album "HOME," the six members returned with greater confidence while keeping the youthful energy that has defined them since debut.

The concert opened on a quieter note with "06070," as the members appeared one by one on a towering LED structure rising from the center of the stage. The reflective introduction quickly gave way to "VIRAL," "But Sometimes" and "I Feel Good," with the members rushing toward the extended stage and encouraging ONEDOOR to get on their feet.

"Holding back isn't what BOYNEXTDOOR or ONEDOOR does," Riwoo shouted. "Let's enjoy today like it's the only one we've got."

Woonhak quickly added to the excitement. "We're going to tear everything down today," he declared, prompting laughter from both the audience and his fellow members. When the others reminded him that the concert was built around the idea of a home shared by BOYNEXTDOOR and ONEDOOR, the youngest member smiled and replied, "We'll remodel it and come back."

The exchange captured the easy chemistry that ran through the nearly three-hour performance.

Rather than relying on long talking segments, the show maintained its momentum by flowing naturally from one song to the next through transition music and VCRs. Jaehyun later explained that the pacing was intentional.

"We wanted to show a more developed version of ourselves than last time," he said. "We kept saying, 'We can't leave this song out.' Before we knew it, we were performing 10 songs in a row."

That approach paid off. "123-78" and "If I Say, I Love You" kept the crowd singing before the concert shifted into a more cinematic section with "Live In Paris" and the live debut of "Is That True?." Songs from the group's recent releases, "The Action" and "HOME," sat comfortably alongside earlier fan favorites, making the set feel like a reflection of BOYNEXTDOOR's journey rather than a simple collection of hits.

One of the night's biggest strengths was its live band. Every song received a fresh arrangement that added depth without overpowering BOYNEXTDOOR's bright pop sound. Even while constantly crossing the stage and performing demanding choreography, the members delivered stable vocals throughout the show. Their synchronization remained sharp, but what stood out even more was how relaxed they looked, exchanging smiles, teasing one another and feeding off the crowd's energy.

The production matched that confidence without stealing the spotlight. A four-story LED tower transformed into an airport during "Live In Paris," complete with suitcases worked into the choreography, before becoming a movie set for "Hollywood Action," a dressing room for "Upside Down" and later a container yard. During "Nice Guy," Taesan surprised the audience by performing the bass introduction himself, drawing one of the loudest cheers of the evening.

Not every memorable moment came during the more energetic songs.

Before "Remember Me," Riwoo paused to explain why the song mattered. "When we talked about building our own home, there were people who could never be left out," he said. "Our families, the members and ONEDOOR. They're people we could never replace."

As handwritten lyrics appeared across the screen behind the members, the audience answered the performance with applause instead of screams. The quieter reaction gave the song room to breathe before the concert launched back into energetic performances including "Earth, Wind & Fire," "One and Only," "JAM!" and "Bathroom."

The encore kept the atmosphere celebratory with "I Wonder," "I Wonder, Always" and the Korean version of "Count To Love," but the members used the closing speeches to reflect on what the concerts meant to them beyond the performances.

Sungho admitted he often thinks about how fans experienced the concert after leaving the venue.

"I always wonder whether there was something we could have done even better," he said. "I hope today's concert becomes a happy memory that stays with you for a long time."

Woonhak echoed that sentiment, saying he hoped fans would remember the day as one of the happiest moments in their lives.

Jaehyun closed the night by reflecting on becoming emotional after the previous day's concert, when his members hugged him backstage.

"I'm the leader, but I'm also their older brother and their friend," he said. "I realized how loved I am by these people. I want to protect this team and stay together for a long time."

Rather than ending with a grand statement about the world tour ahead, BOYNEXTDOOR finished where the concert began, with the idea of home. Before knocking on doors around the world, the group spent three nights reminding fans where that home is. Judging by the voices echoing through KSPO DOME long after the final bow, ONEDOOR already knows the answer.

Following the Seoul concerts, BOYNEXTDOOR will continue "KNOCK ON Vol.2" with three shows in Busan before taking its first world tour to 24 cities.
