Actor Lee Dong-wook is back with the second season of "A Shop for Killers." He spoke about the return at a press conference for the show on the morning of the 20th at the Conrad Seoul hotel in Yeongdeungpo district.

Season 2 will dig into the hidden backstory of Jin-man, who had faked his own death in Season 1. Speaking as a character who died and came back alive, Lee Dong-wook said he felt lucky to keep playing the role. "It's an honor and a joy to be able to keep playing Jeong Jin-man. I think we got to Season 2 thanks to the love and success of Season 1. I'm grateful to the viewers."

He also hinted at a more aggressive tone this time around. "Like the director and Hye-jun said, we strike back. I thought if we only kept defending, it would never end, so we start hitting back with the idea of finishing this," he said. "There's more action than in Season 1, but I did it the way I always do. I gave it everything."

"A Shop for Killers" Season 2 follows Kim Hye-jun as Ji-an, who has just taken over as the new head of the shop after a brutal handover. Alongside Jin-man, played by Lee Dong-wook, she launches a full counterattack against the global forces of "Babylon." The new season arrives two years after Season 1 debuted in 2024.

"A Shop for Killers" Season 2 premieres on the 22nd with its first two episodes. New episodes will roll out every Wednesday for a total of eight.
