Roh Yoon-seo Shares Behind-the-Scenes Photos From Netflix's 'The East Palace'

Actress Roh Yoon-seo has given fans a look behind the scenes of her new Netflix series "The East Palace."

On July 20, Roh posted a series of photos to her social media with a short caption: "Saenggang."

Saenggang is the name of her character in "The East Palace," the Netflix series that dropped on July 17. In the photos, Roh is seen waiting on set in a range of hanbok, the traditional Korean dress worn throughout the show's palace setting.

One image stands out. Roh appears in heavy, unsettling blood makeup, staring straight into the camera with a serious, weighted expression. In other shots she flips the mood entirely, throwing playful hand gestures that read as both threatening and cute. The contrast plays up the range she brings to the role.

"The East Palace" follows Guchun, a man who can cross into the world of spirits, and Saenggang, a court lady hiding a secret. Together they dig into a curse buried inside the East Palace. The series stars Roh Yoon-seo alongside Nam Joo-hyuk and Cho Seung-woo.
