Lee Min-jung, Kim Ji-seok to Lead New KBS Divorce Drama 'OK! Let's Get Divorced'

Actress Lee Min-jung is teaming up with Kim Ji-seok as an on-screen married couple in the new KBS drama "OK! Let's Get Divorced" (Geurae, Ihonhaja).

The series, which premieres August 19 at 11 p.m. KST, follows the co-CEOs of a wedding dress company as they navigate a real-life divorce after years of an exhausting marriage. The premise turns the couple's professional world on its head. They sell the fantasy of the perfect wedding for a living, and now they are trying to end their own.

Lee Min-jung plays Baek Mi-young, the CEO of the wedding label G&White. Baek Mi-young lost her parents in a sudden accident and has poured herself into work ever since. She marries Ji Won-ho, played by Kim Ji-seok, because he makes her laugh. Seven years in, the pressure at the company and at home becomes too much, and she asks for a divorce.

Kim Ji-seok plays Ji Won-ho, G&White's co-CEO and lead wedding dress designer. He falls for Baek Mi-young at first sight, proposes six months into their relationship, and marries her. The reality of married life does not match what he imagined, and the friction eventually leads to her decision to walk away.

Lee Hyun-jin plays Calvin, a hotel CEO and Baek Mi-young's first love. He and Baek Mi-young once dated and broke up. Years later, he shows up in her life again and decides to stay close, adding pressure to her marriage. Lee Jin-yi plays Ahn Hee-joo, a photographer from a wealthy background who represents a younger generation of artists. She first meets Ji Won-ho by chance in Milan, and their paths cross again in a way that feels like fate. She slowly opens up to him, which pushes the story into new territory.

The supporting cast rounds out the show's key relationships. Oh Yeon-ah plays Jeon Chi-hyun, the lawyer handling Baek Mi-young's divorce case and looking to rebuild her career in the process. Jung Eui-je plays Kang Kyung-tae, Ji Won-ho's close junior who knows every side of him, giving the show its bromance beats. Wang Bit-na plays Song A-ri, a G&White director and Baek Mi-young's college friend. Two years into her own divorce and raising a child on her own, she watches the couple's unraveling from a front-row seat.

"OK! Let's Get Divorced" premieres August 19 at 11 p.m. KST on KBS.
