Aespa is maintaining strong momentum on K-POPIT BOARD, with the group's first Japanese mini album continuing to draw attention ahead of its upcoming world tour.

According to K-POPIT BOARD, the K-POP analytics index, aespa ranked No. 1 on the July 29 Global Rise chart with a Power Index (PWR_GL) score of 64.9. The group also held steady at No. 3 on the domestic chart with a Power Index (PWR_KR) score of 65.8. The Power Index combines data from music charts, social media activity and news coverage to measure an artist's overall momentum.

Aespa's detailed metrics reflected that continued interest, recording a Media Attention Score (MAS) of 85.5, which measures media exposure and public interest based on Korean entertainment news coverage. The group also saw a 372% increase in D-layer activity, indicating that conversations surrounding aespa are reaching well beyond its core fanbase.

Much of the group's recent momentum has been driven by the release of its first Japanese mini album, "KISS N TELL," on July 24. The album debuted at No. 1 on Oricon's Daily Album Ranking, adding another milestone to aespa's growing success in Japan.

The six-track release features the house-inspired dance-pop title track "KISS N TELL" alongside "Orbit Pop," "Fangirl," "Done with Rules," "ATTITUDE," the opening theme for the TV anime Kill Blue, and "In Halo," an original soundtrack for the drama Love at First Bite.

Ahead of the album's release, aespa performed the title track for the first time during its three-day "MY-J presents aespa JAPAN FANMEETING 2026 'MY CLASSMaeTE'" in Tokyo from July 18 to 20, giving local fans an early preview of the new music.

The group's schedule is set to pick up again next week with the launch of its fourth world tour, "SYNK : COMPLaeXITY." The tour opens with two concerts at Seoul's Gocheok Sky Dome on Aug. 7 and 8, marking aespa's first solo shows at the venue before continuing across Asia, North and South America, and Europe.

With its Japanese release off to a strong start and its largest world tour yet about to begin, aespa continues to generate steady interest from fans both in Korea and around the world.
