NCT 127 Expands the 'CALL 127' Storyline With Cinematic Trailer Series

NCT 127 has unveiled the full trailer series for its upcoming seventh full-length album "BLINGY," offering fans a cinematic introduction to the comeback's "CALL 127" storyline.

Released across Aug. 3 and 4 through the group's official YouTube channel, the six-part "Call 127" series follows the members as former "problem solvers of Seoul" who have each gone their separate ways. The episodes gradually reveal their individual lives before a mysterious signal begins drawing them back together.

Each member is introduced through a distinct role, from Haechan gathering neighborhood rumors at a comic book café to Jaehyun's unconventional negotiating skills, Yuta's unique connection with animals, Johnny hiding his true abilities and Taeyong working undercover while running a detective agency. The final episode sees the members respond to the long-forgotten "CALL 127," setting the stage for the story that will continue throughout the comeback.

The trailers also feature a preview of the album track "I mean, It's about time," a nostalgic pop song built around strings and 1990s hip-hop-inspired drums. The lyrics reflect on the group's 10-year journey while expressing a commitment to continue moving forward together.

"BLINGY" will be released on Aug. 24 with nine tracks, including the title song of the same name.
