ENHYPEN Draws 193,000 Fans on Americas Leg of 'BLOOD SAGA' World Tour
K-POP group ENHYPEN is drawing strong reviews from international media after wrapping the Americas leg of its latest world tour.
The seven-member group played North and South American dates for its "ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR 'BLOOD SAGA'" run, which ended August 1 local time and pulled about 193,000 fans across the stretch.
Members Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-ki leaned into local culture on the stadium stages, performing bits of traditional Mexican music and Brazilian pop to connect with fans in each city.
Overseas outlets zeroed in on both the shows and the group's growing global reach. Billboard highlighted the Mexico City run, which sold out and expanded to three nights, describing it as "a moment that confirmed the bond with the group's Mexican ENGENEs" and pointing to the mix of sharp choreography and roaring crowds. ENGENE is the name of ENHYPEN's fandom.
British music magazine CLASH wrote about the São Paulo concert, ENHYPEN's first-ever show in Latin America, calling it "a Brazilian debut that will stay on their résumé." The magazine noted that the singalongs and cheers inside the venue were loud enough to briefly pause the members' between-song talks.
The group also appeared on the Brazilian late-night talk show "The Noite com Danilo Gentili." Along with the interview segment, they performed part of "Bloody Paradise," the title track of their upcoming 8th mini album, which drops August 21. Right after the broadcast, the hashtag #ENHYPENonTHENOITE hit No. 1 on Brazil's real-time X trending list in the show category. X was formerly known as Twitter.
With the Americas leg behind them, ENHYPEN is now turning to the release of "THE SIN : BLISS," a new record built around multilingual tracks. The album's narration tracks are recorded in four languages: Korean, English, Japanese and Chinese.
Japanese voice actor Kenjiro Tsuda and Chinese singer Huang Zihongfan took part in the Japanese and Chinese narrations for three tracks: "Remnants of Love," "The Final Moment" and "Hidden Truth." The two also worked with the group on their previous mini album, "THE SIN : VANISH."
"THE SIN : BLISS" arrives August 21 at 1 p.m. KST. The music video for the title track "Bloody Paradise" follows on August 22 at midnight KST.
