Stray Kids Adds Another Platinum Hit in Japan as Tokyo Dome Concerts Approach
K-pop boy group Stray Kids has earned another platinum streaming certification in Japan ahead of its upcoming Tokyo Dome concerts.
According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan, "S-Class," the title track of the group's third studio album, "★★★★★ (5-STAR)," received platinum certification in the streaming category for September 2026. The association awards platinum certification to songs that surpass 100 million cumulative streams in Japan.
"S-Class" is the third Stray Kids song to achieve the milestone. "MANIAC," the title track of the mini album "ODDINARY," and "CASE 143," the title track of "MAXIDENT," previously surpassed 100 million streams each in Japan.
Stray Kids is also continuing its concert activities in Japan. The group will perform at Tokyo Dome for three consecutive nights from Nov. 6 to 8.
The Nov. 7 concert will be broadcast live in movie theaters around the world in partnership with Trafalgar Releasing, a global distributor of event cinema. Fans unable to attend in person will be able to watch the performance live in theaters.
In August, Stray Kids became the first male act from outside Japan to hold its own concert at Japan National Stadium in Tokyo. The group then performed at Vantelin Dome Nagoya and Kyocera Dome Osaka in September, followed by Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka in October.
Including the upcoming Tokyo Dome concerts, Stray Kids will have performed 10 shows in Japan, with total attendance expected to reach approximately 520,000.
Following the Tokyo Dome concerts, Stray Kids will continue its "RUN IT" world tour with shows in Hong Kong on Dec. 5 and Taipei on Dec. 12. The group will then perform in Bangkok on Jan. 16 and 17, 2027, followed by Singapore on March 6 and 7. Additional cities and dates are expected to be announced.
