JUNHEE Returns With New EP 'LOVE METHOD' Featuring Triple Title Tracks
Korean soloist JUNHEE is back with a new project that explores love in all its forms. The singer releases his new mini-album "LOVE METHOD" on August 7 at noon KST.
"LOVE METHOD" centers on the different shapes love can take, according to JUNHEE. The album stretches beyond romance to cover the emotions that come with the start and end of any close relationship.
The EP carries nine tracks in total, anchored by three title songs: "5 STARS," "LA LA LA LUNE," and "Forever young."
The first title track, "5 STARS," delivers a simple idea. Even the most ordinary day feels bigger when you spend it with the person you love.
"LA LA LA LUNE," the song JUNHEE will perform on music shows, follows the ache of realizing what someone meant to you only after they are gone. The lyrics turn regret and longing into images of the moon and heavy fog.
The final track and third title, "Forever young," is built as a conversation between a past self and a present self, each one offering the other some comfort.
The featured artists on the album are another draw. "GET OUT" brings in Wow of the boy group ACE, while "OMW" features actor Kim Min-jae, who trained alongside JUNHEE during their pre-debut years.
The rest of the tracklist rounds out the mood. It includes "Lemonade," "Wonder why," a song for fans titled "Medicine," and "At least, I tried," which sits with the feeling of a breakup.
JUNHEE recently wrapped a Canadian tour and has been performing across the United States and Europe. Last year, his first solo mini-album and its pre-release single "Supernova (00:00)" landed on several overseas charts, giving him a foothold with international listeners heading into this new release.
