TUIDE's Pre-Debut Buzz Grows as TikTok Followers Surpass 1 Million

HYBE's upcoming girl group TUIDE has surpassed 1 million followers on TikTok before officially making its debut.

According to newly established HYBE Music Group label, ABD, on August 10, TUIDE's official TikTok account surpassed 1 million followers on August 7, just six days after its first post was uploaded.

The seven-member group, consisting of Seohee, Seoyeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Sea and Lee Hanee, reached the milestone before fully revealing the members' faces and individual profiles. Unlike many pre-debut groups, TUIDE has also not relied on a survival program or pre-debut reality series to introduce its members.

Rather, much of the early attention has centered around the group's music and performances, particularly "GRLS," a track from its upcoming first mini-album "TUNE & PLAY."

A performance clip titled "Meet my GRLS, TUIDE" has also surpassed 4 million views on YouTube approximately two days after its release, even entering YouTube’s trending music ranks.

Furthermore, the choreography has drawn attention for highlighting the individuality of the seven members while gradually bringing them together as a group. Beginning with solo sections before expanding into units and full-group formations, the performance incorporates elements of house dance, hip-hop and soul alongside freestyle-inspired movements.

The group will officially debut on August 24 at 6 p.m. KST with its first mini-album "TUNE & PLAY," led by title track "SUN KISS."
