BLACKPINK's Rosé has addressed fans following the group's 10th anniversary celebrations, saying she also felt disappointed with how the day turned out.

Rosé shared a message through her Instagram broadcast channel on Aug. 11, three days after the group's anniversary. "I've had a lot on my mind over the past few days, so I couldn't write sooner," she said. Rosé added that she had been looking forward to the 10th anniversary just as much as BLINKs and needed some time to put her thoughts into words.

BLACKPINK celebrated its 10th anniversary on Aug. 8 with a meet-and-greet at the National Museum of Korea attended by 40 fans. Details were announced just two days before the event, and the limited number of attendees led some fans to question the planning around the group's 10th anniversary.

Rosé said she had wanted Aug. 8 to be a day that BLACKPINK and BLINKs could enjoy together. "I wanted that one day, Aug. 8, to be a time when we could all smile and be happy, but things didn't work out the way I hoped," she wrote. She also thanked fans who came to see the group despite the summer heat, saying she was glad to see them again but also felt sorry.

Rosé went on to thank BLINKs for the love they have given BLACKPINK over the past decade. She said the emotions hit her once she returned home after the anniversary and that she needed time to collect herself before writing to fans.

"We all have our regrets, but once again, happy 10th anniversary," she said. "Let's make even better memories together from here."

Jisoo had also apologized to fans during BLACKPINK's Weverse Live on the anniversary. "We knew that the 10th anniversary was an important day, but there was an issue in the communication process," she said. "I want to say I'm sorry and I love you to BLINKs who may have felt disappointed. I hope you understand how we feel."
