WayV has officially kicked off promotions for their latest mini-album, “Vision Wings,” following its release on Aug. 10.

To celebrate the release of their eighth mini-album, WayV teamed up with Tencent Music Entertainment (TME) for a listening party in Guangzhou, China. Throughout the event, the members listened to the new tracks alongside fans, shared stories about the album and participated in a series of games altogether.

WayV is also collaborating with the Chinese music platform QQ Music for a series of album-themed pop-ups across China. Running until the 30th of August, the installations will appear at major shopping malls in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Suzhou and Hangzhou, giving fans another way to experience the concept behind Vision Wings.

Moreover, the group will also bring their comeback to Korean music shows, beginning with KBS2’s Music Bank on the 14th of August. This will be followed by MBC's Show! Music Core on Aug. 15 and SBS' Inkigayo on Aug. 16. On the shows, the group is set to perform the English version of the title track, "鸢 (Vision Wings)."

The track, while having a heavy hip-hop base, incorporates various Chinese-inspired elements and centers on the idea of holding onto one’s convictions while breaking beyond personal limitations. The choreography also incorporates various martial-arts movements alongside the group’s signature performance style.

Despite its early release, “Vision Wings” has made an early impact on international charts as the EP reached No. 1 on QQ Music's overall Digital Album Chart and EP Chart and earned the platform's Gold Album certification after surpassing 250,000 yuan in sales.

Outside China, the album reached No. 1 on the iTunes Top Albums chart in nine regions, including Mexico, Chile, Guatemala, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, the Philippines and Malaysia. It entered the Top 10 in a total of 14 regions.

The group will then launch their third concert tour, 2026 WayV CONCERT TOUR [BORN THIS Way], with two shows at KBS Arena in Seoul on Sept. 12 and 13.
