Rapper punchnello Makes Acting Debut in Disney+'s 'A Shop for Killers Season 2'

Rapper punchnello has completed his first acting role with the Disney+ series "A Shop for Killers Season 2." The rapper appeared in episodes 7 and 8 of the show, which were released on August 12, playing a secret informant known as "the Mole."

"A Shop for Killers Season 2" follows Jian, played by Kim Hye-jun, who takes over as the new head of the shopping mall after a brutal transition of power. She teams up with Jin-man, played by Lee Dong-wook, who has returned alive, to fight back against the global forces of Babylon.

punchnello plays a mole who goes undercover as a server administrator inside Babylon and helps steal a classified server. He carries out his mission quietly under the orders of Kusanagi, the head of Babylon's East Asia branch, played by Jung Yoon-ha. In the back half of the story, his character delivers a twist as the hidden ally of the secret weapons shopping mall Murder Help.

The rapper adds tension to the show as a character who stays calm in high-stakes moments and works closely with the Murder Help team. In one scene, the Mole removes a biochip from his own arm to keep his information from leaking. In another, he shares a silent nod with Jin-man, a small moment that shows he can be trusted as a partner.

punchnello is a hip-hop artist who won Mnet's "Show Me the Money 8." In January of this year, he released a collaboration single with Deepshower titled "PUNCHSHOWER 2." He has also been featured on tracks by a range of artists recently.

With his acting debut in "A Shop for Killers Season 2" now behind him, attention is turning to what the rapper will do next.
