Following their second sold-out show in Baltimore on August 11, BTS members Jungkook and V went live on Weverse, where what began as a casual conversation with fans quickly turned into another plea for privacy.

Currently traveling across North America for BTS' "ARIRANG" World Tour, the members have continued to communicate with ARMY through social media and Weverse whenever possible. However, Jungkook and V revealed that some encounters away from the stage have increasingly crossed personal boundaries, particularly while the members are trying to exercise.

During the livestream, the pair explained that people have been entering gyms seemingly not to work out, but instead to watch them train. "You shouldn't go to the gym and stare at someone. You can't do that! It's our private life," they said.

V went on to explain that the members deliberately work out at extremely late hours, yet even doing so has not prevented people from appearing stating, "We trained at 2 in the morning and there were 20 people! Does that sound normal to you?"

The revelation raised particular concern due to the circumstances surrounding the encounters. Rather than fans simply happening to recognize the members in a public space, Jungkook and V's account suggested that groups of people were showing up at gyms during unusual hours and remaining there primarily to observe them.

For artists on tour, gyms can form part of the limited personal time available between rehearsals, performances and travel. BTS' current North American schedule has seen the group move between cities for consecutive stadium shows, making the members’ request for privacy during their time away from official activities especially significant.

This is also far from the first time BTS members have spoken about boundaries between themselves and fans as over the years, members have repeatedly discouraged people from following them during private schedules.

Their latest comments once again draw attention to the distinction between unexpectedly encountering an artist in public and deliberately seeking them out in spaces unrelated to their official schedules. As BTS continues its "ARIRANG" World Tour, the members' latest request ultimately serves as a reminder that their time away from the stage remains exactly that, private.
