CORTIS' Next Drop? Don Toliver Hitmaker Jaasu Spotted With Group's Producers

A producer behind some of Don Toliver's biggest recent tracks may be getting one step closer to working with CORTIS after previously expressing interest in producing for the K-POP rookie group.

Producer Jaasu recently shared glimpses from a studio session involving producers connected to CORTIS, quickly catching the attention of fans who remembered his previous interaction surrounding the group.

While no official collaboration has been announced, and HYBE cannot currently confirm whether it's a signal towards a collaboration or new work from the group, the update has already sparked speculation which leans towards new music.

Jaasu was notably involved in Don Toliver's fifth studio album "OCTANE," which was released back in January of this year. The album went on to become Don Toliver's first No.1 on the Billboard 200, while Jaasu received production and/or writing credits across several tracks including viral hit "E85."

His possible connection to CORTIS, however, began before the latest studio update as fans had previously noticed Jaasu in the comment section of a TikTok featuring CORTIS member Martin. The group had been seen reacting to Don Toliver’s latest album, having been noted big fans of his work. Jaasu openly expressed his interest in working with the group, writing, "someone connect me so i can produce for them fr."

Now, that request appears to have moved at least one step closer to reality as in newly shared images from a studio session, uploaded by Jaasu himself, Jaasu could be seen spending time with producers Supreme Boi and Hiss Noise who have been known to be connected to CORTIS’ music.

The development is particularly notable given CORTIS' appreciation for the artist and hands-on approach to their music creation. Jaasu, meanwhile, brings experience from a project that became one of hip-hop's major releases of 2026.

For now, neither CORTIS nor BIGHIT MUSIC has announced Jaasu as a producer on the group's next release, nor a collaboration which means that whether the sessions are directly connected to CORTIS’ music remains unclear.

Still, for fans who remembered his earlier request to be connected with the group, seeing Jaasu now working within CORTIS' wider production circle was enough to fuel anticipation. Whether the sessions ultimately result in a CORTIS track, a wider collaboration or simply an exchange between producers remains to be seen but the connection fans once hoped for suddenly appears much closer than before.
