From G-Dragon to Dabin.kr: Korean Solo Stars Keep the Spotlight at Head In The Clouds LA
Korean singer Dabin.kr, formerly known as DPR LIVE, headlined one of the biggest Asian music festivals in the United States. He is the only Korean solo artist on this year's headline slate.
Dabin.kr performed at "Head In The Clouds LA 2026" on August 8 local time in Los Angeles, playing to tens of thousands of fans. He followed G-Dragon, who headlined the same festival last year.
Taking the stage solo, Dabin.kr delivered a 14-song set. He moved between older fan favorites and newer material, showing the full range of his catalog.
The setlist leaned into the work he built as DPR LIVE, including "Jasmine" and "KISS ME." He also performed the personal "Giggles" and the more experimental "senseS," among others.
He also premiered two unreleased tracks live for the first time. The surprise reveal hinted at the direction of his next chapter under the Dabin.kr name.
"Head In The Clouds" is the flagship festival from 88rising, the U.S. entertainment company that has spent years pushing Asian artists into the global market. Being tapped as a headliner carries weight in that context, especially for a Korean solo act following G-Dragon's set from last year.
Next up, Dabin.kr will perform at "Waterbomb Sokcho 2026" on August 22, continuing a run of shows that stretches across both overseas and domestic stages.
