JENNIE Sets August Comeback With New EP

JENNIE is preparing to return with a new EP later this month.

Her agency ODDATELIER said Aug. 19 that the singer is currently working toward a late-August release, marking her next solo project following a run of major festival appearances around the world.

This year, JENNIE has appeared as a headliner at seven global festivals, including Governors Ball in New York, Roskilde Festival in Denmark, Open'er Festival in Poland, Mad Cool Festival in Spain and Summer Sonic in Japan.

Those performances have also served as an early preview of her next release. JENNIE introduced several previously unreleased songs during her festival sets, including "Less than a Lover," "FALLEN ANGEL" and "lockitdown," raising questions about which tracks will make the upcoming EP.

"Less than a Lover" has already gained traction since its release, earning a gold certification on China's QQ Music and taking two consecutive wins on Mnet's "M Countdown."

Further details about the EP, including its release date and tracklist, have yet to be announced.
