CORTIS Earns Two Nominations at 2026 MTV VMAs

CORTIS has earned two nominations at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, just one year after making its debut.

The group was nominated for Best New Artist and Best K-POP, with "REDRED," the title track from its second EP "GREENGREEN," competing in the latter category. CORTIS is the first K-POP boy group that debuted in the 2020s to receive a VMA nomination.

The nominations come as the five-member group continues to build momentum in the U.S. "GREENGREEN" ranked No. 110 on the latest Billboard 200, extending its run on the chart to 14 consecutive weeks. It also placed No. 2 on World Albums and No. 6 on Top Album Sales.

CORTIS' debut EP, "COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES," is also still charting, ranking No. 7 on World Albums. The album surpassed 700 million cumulative streams on Spotify on Aug. 16, less than a year after its release.

The group celebrated its first anniversary on Aug. 18 and will mark the milestone with "BIRTHDAY PARTY" concerts at Korea University's Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul on Aug. 22 and 23.
