CHUNG HA Teases New Single 'México' Ahead of Release

CHUNG HA has offered the first look at the music video for her upcoming digital single "México," due out Sept. 1.

The singer released a teaser through her official social media and YouTube channels on Aug. 30, previewing both the song's sound and choreography. The video places CHUNG HA against a desolate landscape, with shots of her dancing beneath a sunset and reaching toward the sky as a flock of birds takes flight.

The brief clip also introduces the track's rhythmic, Latin-influenced sound, paired with a performance that highlights Chungha's confident stage presence.

"México" marks CHUNG HA's first release in about seven months, following her February digital single "Save me." The song centers on the desire to escape the emptiness of a repetitive life and leave for somewhere unfamiliar, where there is room to start again.

CHUNG HA has also extended the single's concept through short-form content and themed merchandise ahead of the release.

"México" will be available on streaming platforms Sept. 1 at 6 p.m. KST.
