BTS' Jimin has earned his first Platinum streaming certification in Japan as a solo artist with "Who."
According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan, the title track from Jimin's second solo album, "MUSE," surpassed 100 million cumulative streams in the country and received Platinum certification for July. It is now his most-streamed solo track in Japan.
The RIAJ awards Gold certification to songs that reach 50 million streams, Platinum at 100 million and Diamond at 500 million. Jimin previously earned certifications for his solo albums, with "FACE" receiving Platinum for more than 250,000 shipments and "MUSE" earning Gold after surpassing 100,000.
Released in 2024, "Who" also had an extended run on major charts outside Japan. The song debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and remained on the chart for 33 weeks. It also reached No. 1 on both Billboard's Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts.
In the U.K., "Who" peaked at No. 4 on the Official Singles Chart and spent 28 weeks on the chart.
