ENHYPEN Sweeps K-POPIT BOARD Rise Charts After First Billboard 200 No. 1
ENHYPEN has risen to No. 1 on both K-POPIT BOARD Rise charts, following a week that saw the group reach the top of album charts in both the United States and Japan.
According to K-POPIT BOARD, the K-POP analytics index, ENHYPEN ranked No. 1 on the Sept. 2 Domestic Rise chart with a Power Index (PWR_KR) score of 74. The group also took No. 1 on the Global Rise chart with a Power Index (PWR_GL) score of 71. The Power Index combines data from music charts, social media activity and news coverage to measure an artist's overall momentum.
ENHYPEN also recorded a Momentum Score (MOM) of 80, placing the group among the week's fastest-rising artists, while its Media Attention Score (MAS) reached 98.6, reflecting particularly high attention across Korean entertainment media.
The jump comes after "THE SIN : BLISS" gave ENHYPEN its first No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The group's eighth EP debuted atop the chart dated Sept. 5 with 98,000 equivalent album units, ending a gradual climb that had previously taken ENHYPEN as high as No. 2. The album followed that result with another No. 1 in Japan, topping Oricon's weekly albums chart with around 190,000 copies sold. It marked the group's 11th album to lead the Japanese ranking.
Beyond those chart results, "THE SIN : BLISS" has drawn attention as ENHYPEN's first album since shifting to a six-member lineup. Rather than making a sharp break from the group's established identity, the album continues the vampire storyline that has run through much of its music while experimenting with a different sound.
That shift is clearest on title track "Bloody Paradise," which brings Brazilian funk into ENHYPEN's dark, performance-driven style. The song follows two lovers who, despite being on the run, come to see simply being together as their own version of paradise. It fits into the larger narrative of "THE SIN : BLISS," which uses narration and interconnected tracks to unfold as a single story.
The new direction has also produced some divided reactions. The Brazilian funk beat, choreography and the group's performances have been well received among fans, while some listeners have found the track's short runtime and restrained chorus less immediate than earlier ENHYPEN singles. B-sides including "Highlight," "Bad For You," "Stuck" and "Two Fools" have also drawn attention alongside the title track.
Still, the album has found an audience well beyond its physical sales. "Bloody Paradise" gave ENHYPEN a new career high on Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global chart and earned the group its first sweep of No. 1 trophies across five major Korean music shows. Its rhythmic hook has also traveled to short-form platforms, with the track reaching No. 1 on TikTok Korea's Top 50 and Viral 50 charts.
ENHYPEN has continued to put the song's performance at the center of the comeback. On Sept. 1, the group recorded an appearance for SoundBOMB360˚, a live series that strips away choreography and instead focuses on vocals and spatial audio.
The timing helps explain ENHYPEN's position at the top of this week's K-POPIT BOARD. The group's first Billboard 200 No. 1 and latest Oricon success have coincided with a comeback that is also testing how ENHYPEN's established sound and storytelling translate into its new six-member chapter.
