EVAN Goes All In on Self-Production for First Mini Album "DEATH OF ME"

EVAN is expanding his role as a self-producing artist with his first mini-album, "DEATH OF ME" which is set for release on September 7.

EVAN participated in writing the lyrics for every track and composing seven of the eight songs, with the track "Noise" as the sole exception. He also led the album's overall production, expanding his experiences.

Described as a pop R&B song, "Death of Me" serves as the centerpiece of the album being named the title track that will continue to show and develop the musical direction which EVAN introduced with his debut.

Having debuted in June with his single "RIDE OR DIE," EVAN took an active role in the songwriting, composition and production of the track alongside its creative direction. The release moved between contrasting sounds which include alternative rock, pop rock and hyperpop elements.

"Ride or Die" topped iTunes Top Songs charts in nine countries and regions, while its music video reached No. 9 on YouTube's global Daily Top Music Videos chart. Since then, EVAN has also received the Global-K Artist award at the 2026 TMElive International Music Awards and the All-Round Musician Award at the 2026 K-World Dream Awards.

Ahead of his first comeback, "DEATH OF ME" has surpassed 420,000 pre-saves on Spotify as of September 2 and has also ranked toward the top of the platform's global Countdown Chart, which tracks weekly pre-saves for upcoming releases.
