ALD1 Nabs First Music Show Win With 'BORN DIRE' on 'The Show'

K-pop group ALPHA DRIVE ONE (ALD1) has earned its first music show win since beginning promotions for its second EP. The trophy also marks the group's first-ever No. 1 on SBS Life's "The Show."

ALPHA DRIVE ONE appeared on the program Tuesday and performed two tracks from "UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST": the title track "BORN DIRE" and the B-side "Diamond Hour (Standing Ver.)."

The performances highlighted contrasting sides of the group. "Diamond Hour (Standing Ver.)" focused on softer vocals and delicate emotion, while "BORN DIRE" delivered a more intense, high-energy performance.

"BORN DIRE" went on to take first place, giving ALPHA DRIVE ONE its first music show trophy of the comeback.

"We really want to thank ALLYZ from the bottom of our hearts for helping us win," the members said, referring to the group's fandom. "This is our first No. 1 on 'The Show.' We don't think we'll ever forget this precious award. We'll continue to grow as ALPHA DRIVE ONE."

The group's second EP has also charted overseas. It reached No. 1 on QQ Music's daily digital EP chart in China and No. 2 on Oricon's daily album ranking in Japan.

ALPHA DRIVE ONE will continue promoting the EP through music shows and other content.
