Stray Kids Show the Power of a Self-Producing Group

K-pop group Stray Kids has remained in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 for a third consecutive week.

According to the latest Billboard charts dated Sep. 5, Stray Kids' mini album "THIS & THAT," released Aug. 7, ranked at No. 8 on the Billboard 200. The album debuted at No. 1 on the chart dated Aug. 22 and has now spent three consecutive weeks in the top 10. It also placed at No. 2 on both World Albums and Top Album Sales.

Stray Kids first topped the Billboard 200 in 2022 with the mini album "ODDINARY." Since then, all nine of the group's entries have debuted at No. 1. No other artist has reached the top with each of its first nine entries on the chart.

The members' production work has played a central role in the group's music. Stray Kids' producing unit 3RACHA, consisting of Bang Chan, Changbin and Han, has helped shape the group's sound since before its official debut.

As of Aug. 26, Bang Chan had 243 works registered with the Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA), the highest total among K-pop idols. Changbin ranked sixth with 207 registered works, while Han ranked eighth with 204.
