Former ENHYPEN member EVAN is sharing his inner thoughts through his first mini album.

EVAN will release the eight-track album "DEATH OF ME" through major streaming services at 6 p.m. KST on Sept. 7. The album follows his efforts to work through tangled emotions without losing sight of himself.

The title track, "Death of Me," pairs a weighty pop-R&B sound with EVAN's determination to move forward from a new starting point. EVAN participated in writing and composing the song. The line "Ain't the death of me" captures its central message that no one can stop him.

The choreography emphasizes EVAN's polished style and controlled movement. Groove-driven moves and layered formations follow the song's progression. Part of the choreography was previewed in a music video teaser.

EVAN oversaw production across the album, taking an active role in shaping its overall musical direction beyond performing the songs.

Alongside the title track, "Not Enough" is a pop song about reaching for a wider world, while the pop-R&B track "Noise" centers on moving at one's own pace. "Ride or Die" channels raw longing through alternative rock.

The album moves across pop R&B, alternative rock, UK garage, indie pop and dream pop. "Twilight" is a UK garage-based pop track, while "Immature" is an alternative rock song about continuing forward despite uncertainty. "Overflow" takes a calmer indie-pop approach, and "Going Home" offers a warm dream-pop take on the journey toward one's own destination.

The album has also drawn attention overseas ahead of its release. "DEATH OF ME" ranked No. 1 for nine consecutive days on Spotify's "Top 10 Countdowns," which is based on pre-save totals. A track sampler featuring previews of the album's songs was also released.

EVAN left ENHYPEN in March after promoting with the group under the name Heeseung. He later began using EVAN as his stage name and launched his solo career in June with the digital single "RIDE OR DIE."

EVAN will hold the "EVAN 1st Mini Album 'DEATH OF ME' Debut Showcase" at 7 p.m. KST on release day at Kyung Hee University's Grand Peace Palace in Seoul's Dongdaemun district. He will perform songs from the album for the first time.
