CORTIS Ends First Sold-Out Tour Saying "We Didn't Want It to End"

CORTIS has completed its first-ever tour, wrapping the run with three sold-out concerts in Japan.

The group concluded their 2026 CORTIS TOUR with shows at Pia Arena MM in Kanagawa from September 4 through 6. The concerts marked CORTIS' first standalone performances in Japan, with all three dates selling out.

During the Japan shows, CORTIS also surprised fans with an unreleased track, "NANI (Demo ver.)," which incorporates Japanese lyrics. The September 5 and 6 concerts were livestreamed through Weverse, drawing viewers from 54 countries and regions, including South Korea, the U.S., Japan, China, Australia, the U.K. and Germany.

"Performing together and enjoying the show with everyone was our dream, and you made that come true," the members said following the tour. "We were so happy that we didn't want it to end."

CORTIS added that the tour had changed the way they thought about their relationship with listeners saying, "We think everyone who enjoys our music is CORTIS."

"We gained so much positive energy from this tour, and we think it will become motivation for what we do next. More than anything, we learned how to meet and communicate with COER."

Beginning in July, the PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN tour traveled through nine cities across South Korea, Canada, the U.S. and Japan, with all dates selling out. The tour was built around the idea of remaining immersed in the moment, encouraging CORTIS and its audiences to experience the performances together.

The setlist also evolved throughout the run as the group introduced unreleased material. CORTIS first performed "Motion (feat. Juicy J)" at Lollapalooza Chicago ahead of its North American tour dates before adding the song to the tour setlist.

The tour drew attention from U.S. media during its North American leg as Billboard highlighted the group's first standalone U.S. performance at the Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York, while Sweety High described the Los Angeles show at YouTube Theater as closer to a large house party than a conventional concert.

Moreover, as the group was touring in North America, CORTIS' second mini album GREENGREEN also climbed 75 places to No. 39 on the Billboard 200 dated August 15. Now, as of the September 5 chart, the album sits at No. 112 and has spent 16 consecutive weeks on the ranking.

At the group's first-anniversary BIRTHDAY PARTY in Seoul, CORTIS also debuted "MONEYMONEYMONEY" and "PACK IT UP" live for the first time as well.

Following the end of its first tour, CORTIS is scheduled to perform at ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2026 in Chiba on September 20 before appearing at the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix on October 9.
