BLACKPINK's LISA on Group's Future: "We'll Be Together Again"
K-pop group BLACKPINK's LISA said the members are currently focused on their solo careers but will come together once again after achieving their individual goals.
LISA appeared on the U.S. podcast "In Your Dreams With Owen Thiele," released on Sept. 4. She discussed her path to becoming a K-pop artist, her solo career and BLACKPINK's future activities.
When asked whether fans would see all four members together again, LISA said, "if the timing is right. right now, we're all focusing on our solo careers. we just finished our tour earlier this year, so we need some solo time. but once we've achieved what we want, we'll be together again. they're my family and my best friends."
BLACKPINK kicked off its "DEADLINE" world tour at Goyang Stadium in South Korea on July 5, 2025. The tour spanned 33 shows across 16 cities in Asia, North America and Europe before concluding at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium on Jan. 26.
In Dec. 2023, BLACKPINK renewed its contract with YG Entertainment for group activities. Later that month, the agency announced that it would not enter into separate contracts with the four members for their individual activities. The members have since pursued their solo careers under separate management arrangements.
LISA released her new single "SaWaDiKa" through streaming platforms worldwide on Sept. 4.
