SEVENTEEN's DK Enlists in Army, Shares Buzz Cut Photos

SEVENTEEN's DK enlisted in the South Korean Army on Sept. 8 to begin his mandatory military service.

The singer entered a training center, where he will undergo basic military training before serving as an active-duty soldier. No official event was held, and Pledis Entertainment asked fans not to visit the site out of consideration for other recruits and their families.

Ahead of his enlistment, DK shared photos and videos of himself getting his hair cut short. "I'll return safely and in good health," he wrote on social media, joking in another post, "I have no hair."

DK will not participate in SEVENTEEN's activities during his service, though the agency said fans can look forward to content prepared in advance.

He debuted with SEVENTEEN in 2015 and is the sixth member of the group to enlist. The group renewed its contract with Pledis Entertainment for a second time in July, reaffirming its commitment to continuing together.
