BLACKPINK's Jisoo has topped both the domestic and global rankings following her solo comeback. "CLICK," the first pre-release single from her upcoming first full-length solo album, performed strongly on music and album charts, while a makeup transformation video shared on social media helped keep the spotlight focused on her after the release.

According to K-POPIT BOARD, a K-pop analytics index, Jisoo ranked No. 1 in both the domestic and global overall rankings. Her domestic PWR (KR) stood at 76.1, while her global PWR (GL) reached 65.0.

"CLICK," released on Sept. 4, played a key role in her domestic ranking. Jisoo's domestic MOM scored 80.8, while her D-layer index, which tracks interest among non-fandom audiences, jumped 194.0 percent. The release of the single and its music video appears to have sharply increased mainstream interest over a short period.

"CLICK" is the first pre-release single leading up to Jisoo's solo studio album. It is also her first solo release in about 11 months. Built around restrained synths and a springy bassline, the song describes two people who know they should not be drawn to each other but continue to grow closer. The music video was directed by Korean American filmmaker Joseph Kahn, whose credits include work with Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and Eminem.

Her fandom also showed strong activity. Jisoo's FHI, measure of fandom activity and sustainability, reached 86.6. During the first week of September, "CLICK" sold 102,010 copies and posted an album index of 217,084.52 on the Hanteo Chart, earning the No. 1 spot on the weekly album chart. The result reflects concentrated early buying by her fanbase during the three-day period between the release and the end of the weekly tracking period.

Her global No. 1 ranking was supported by the song's overseas performance. Jisoo's global MOM scored 68.6. Following its release, "CLICK" topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in nine regions and entered the top 10 in 43. It also reached No. 3 on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart. The response was spread across multiple markets rather than concentrated in one region, helping lift her overall global ranking.

Interest in Jisoo continued beyond her music. On Sept. 9, she posted a short video to her Instagram Story showing her appearance before and after makeup. In the first half of the clip, she wore a black top with her long hair straight and a bit of makeup on her face, creating a natural look.

After the transition, she appeared in a white knit top with voluminous waves and more defined eye makeup, creating a brighter and more polished look. Her clear skin and defined features stood out even before the transformation.

The board also recorded a MAS score of 90.7, the highest among her sub-metrics. MAS reflects attention from the media and the broader public. While the album sales for "CLICK" demonstrated the strength of Jisoo's fandom, the sharp rise in her D-layer index and her high MAS score suggest that the comeback also drew attention beyond her existing fanbase.

Starting with "CLICK," Jisoo plans to release a series of singles with different moods and styles, gradually revealing the direction of her debut solo studio album. With the first pre-release track already taking her to the top of both the domestic and global boards, attention now turns to whether the upcoming singles can sustain the momentum.
