ITZY's Yuna Reflects on 'My Favorite Employee' as Drama Comes to an End

ITZY's Yuna has shared her thoughts following the conclusion of tvN drama My Favorite Employee.

The Monday-Tuesday series aired its final episode on September 8, bringing Yuna's run as rising star Yoon Choi to an end.

Throughout the drama, Yoon Choi openly pursued her former boyfriend Lee Chan, played by Cha Woo-min, in hopes of winning him back. Her feelings grew more complicated as Lee Chan developed an interest in Nam Da-reum, played by Kim Hye-jun, bringing out the character's jealousy and determination.

"I learned and experienced so much while filming My Favorite Employee," Yuna said through JYP Entertainment. "It was an honor to be given the role of Yoon Choi, and I was happy throughout every moment I spent with Choi."

She also thanked the cast, production staff and viewers who followed the series.

"I'm truly grateful to all the actors and staff," she said. "I think it will be an even more unforgettable project because I was able to work with such wonderful people."

"Choi may have been frustrating at times, but I sincerely thank the viewers who still looked at her fondly and supported her," she added.

Behind-the-scenes videos released through tvN DRAMA's official YouTube channel also showed Yuna discussing details including Yoon Choi's gestures and manner of speaking on set as she worked to establish the character's motivations in individual scenes.

My Favorite Employee marks another step in Yuna's growing acting career. She previously appeared in tvN's Undercover Miss Hong, which concluded in March 2026 and marked her first television drama role.

With both projects now complete, Yuna continues to build her acting résumé alongside her activities as a member of ITZY.
