IVE's Jang Won-young Tries a Korean PC Bang for the First Time

IVE member Jang Won-young gave fans a glimpse of her "gamer girl" side. The singer posted a set of photos from a Korean internet cafe visit, captioned "Back to game girl" and "I'm actually bad at games."

The photos were posted to her Instagram Sept. 20. They show Jang Won-young at a PC bang, the neighborhood gaming cafes that remain a fixture of youth culture in South Korea, where she stopped by with her IVE members to film content.

In the photos, she looks like any other customer. She ordered food at the cafe and shared her in-game character and player ID with fans.

An earlier clip from the same shoot drew attention when Jang Won-young admitted, "This is my first time at a PC bang," and typed with the slow, finger "eagle" style familiar to many first-timers.

Beyond her work with IVE, Jang Won-young is one of the most in-demand brand ambassadors in the K-POP industry. She currently fronts campaigns spanning beauty, fashion, food, finance and alcohol.
