EJAE and Sam Kim Share Maldives Honeymoon Photos After Private Wedding

EJAE and singer-songwriter Sam Kim are on their honeymoon in the Maldives. The couple married last month, Oct. 17.

EJAE shared several photos on her Instagram account on Nov. 5. She captioned the post "Unforgettable Honeymoon in the Maldives🦀🐠❤️."

The photos show the newlyweds enjoying their trip at a number of different spots. EJAE posed in several bikinis throughout the photos.

The couple had originally planned to marry in California this month. Instead, they held a private ceremony last month at Stage 28 in the Godeok-dong neighborhood of Seoul's Gangdong district.

The venue has family ties as Stage 28 sits on the site of the former home of veteran actor Shin Young-kyun, 99, who is EJAE's maternal grandfather. It is also home to the Shin Young-kyun Arts and Culture Foundation. EJAE's older brother reportedly held his wedding there as well.

EJAE and Kim first met as colleagues at a songwriting session in 2017. They later started dating and got engaged in late 2023.

EJAE spent 12 years as a trainee at SM Entertainment. She went on to write songs for other artists, including Red Velvet's "Psycho" and aespa's "Drama" and "Armageddon."

Her profile grew sharply last year with the Netflix hit "KPop Demon Hunters." She is the lead singing voice of HUNTR/X, the film's fictional girl group, and sang and worked on key songs from the soundtrack.

Kim works as a producer, songwriter and computer programmer.
