Not Just "SUN KISS": TUIDE's "GRLS" Emerges as a Second Standout

TUIDE is giving B-side "GRLS" another spotlight as the track continues to build momentum alongside debut title track "SUN KISS."

The seven-member group released the official choreography video for "GRLS" through its YouTube channel on September 20, showcasing the full performance for the track from debut mini album TUNE & PLAY.

Seohee, Seoyeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Seah, and Yi Hani move between individual, unit and full-group sections throughout the video. Built around the song's upbeat house rhythm, the choreography combines constantly changing formations with individual gestures, while the camera follows the members through the transitions.

"GRLS" first appeared before TUIDE's official debut through the "Meet my GRLS, TUIDE" video, which featured the track's performance. The video subsequently spent two consecutive weeks on Spotify's Global Music Video chart and entered YouTube Korea's Trending Music rankings.

The song has continued gaining attention through music show performances and dance challenges following the group's debut.

Despite being a B-side, "GRLS" has reached No. 4 on Apple Music's Top 100: South Korea chart, while "SUN KISS" previously reached No. 1 on the same ranking.

Its short-form presence has also continued to grow. "GRLS" peaked at No. 6 on Instagram Reels' Trending Audio ranking, while nearly 80,000 TikTok videos using the track, including original sounds, had been posted as of September 20.

The track has additionally appeared on Melon's Hot 100 and the real-time charts of Bugs and Genie.

"GRLS" blends elements of house, soul and hip-hop, giving TUIDE a second performance-focused track alongside "SUN KISS" as the group continues promotions for "TUNE & PLAY."
