BLACKPINK's LISA Wins Best Pop at 2026 MTV VMAs

BLACKPINK's LISA has won Best Pop at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards.

LISA took home the award for "Dream feat. Kentaro Sakaguchi" at the ceremony held Sept. 27 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. She accepted the Moon Person trophy in person, appearing emotional as she delivered her acceptance speech onstage.

"All those late night dreams brought me here today," LISA said. She then thanked her fans, adding, "Especially to my Lilies, I won't be here without you guys, so thank you so much."

"Dream" beat out a field that included Ariana Grande's "hate that i made you love me," Charli xcx's "SS26," Olivia Rodrigo's "drop dead," Sabrina Carpenter's "House Tour," Tate McRae's "Nobody's Girl" and Taylor Swift's "The Fate of Ophelia."

The win marks another major VMA achievement for LISA, who entered this year's ceremony with four nominations. In addition to Best Pop, "Dream" was nominated for Best K-Pop, Best Cinematography and Best Editing.

LISA previously won Best K-Pop for "LALISA" in 2022 and "ROCKSTAR" in 2024. Her latest win expands her VMA record beyond the K-pop-specific category, with "Dream" earning her the Best Pop trophy this year.

The 2026 MTV VMAs, hosted by Snoop Dogg, are being held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
