IVE Sets Oct. 26 Comeback After Three Pre-Release Chart Sweeps

K-pop girl group IVE will release a pre-release track on Oct. 19, followed by its new mini-album, "Looks Can Kill," on Oct. 26. The album marks the group's return about eight months after its previous release.

Starship Entertainment announced the dates through a teaser posted on its official social media channels. The video shows IVE's logo and the words "IVE SPIN-OFF RELEASE 2026.10.19" projected onto a high-rise building. The date refers to the pre-release track, which arrives one week before the mini-album.

IVE has had success with this approach before. Its pre-release tracks "Kitsch" in 2023, "REBEL HEART" in 2025 and "BANG BANG" earlier this year each achieved a Perfect All-Kill on South Korea's major music charts. With the group again releasing a song ahead of the album, the new track will offer an early indication of how its comeback is being received.

"BANG BANG" was one of two title tracks on IVE's second full-length album, "REVIVE+," alongside "BLACKHOLE." The two songs earned the group a combined nine Korean music show trophies. "BANG BANG" also entered Billboard's Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts.

IVE recently completed its second world tour, "SHOW WHAT I AM," with performances across Asia, Oceania and North America. The tour included shows at Kyocera Dome and Tokyo Dome in Japan, as well as stops in eight North American cities, including three in Canada.

The group plans to release more teasers through its official social media channels ahead of the album.
