NMIXX Lights the Arrow for a Mysterious "Strange Muse" Comeback

NMIXX is drawing its bow on a new era with "Strange Muse.”

The group released a new set of concept photos on September 30 ahead of its sixth mini album, which arrives October 19 alongside title track "긴 소원 (Birthday Wish).”

LILY, HAEWON, SULLYOON, BAE, JIWOO and KYUJIN appear against quiet, understated settings in the new images, with bows and arrows providing the main visual thread.

That imagery takes a more surreal turn as the bows appear to split into multiple streams of light, while the members are shown pulling back glowing bowstrings. The unusual objects contrast with the otherwise still surroundings, extending the mysterious visual direction introduced through the first Strange Muse images released September 29.

Beyond the visuals, "Strange Muse” will also introduce something new to NMIXX's discography: the group's first unit tracks.

The six-track mini album opens with "긴 소원 (Birthday Wish)” and also includes "Kerosene” and "RudE TaLK.”

The remaining three songs divide NMIXX into pairs. LILY and HAEWON team up for "너는 달 (Sing to the Moon),” SULLYOON and BAE take on "Hot 'n Unbothered,” while JIWOO and KYUJIN pair up for "휙 (WHIP).”

Members also participated directly in the creation of their respective unit songs, adding another first to the three tracks.

"Strange Muse” follows NMIXX's October 2025 release "Blue Valentine” and May 2026's "Heavy Serenade.”

NMIXX will release "Strange Muse” and "긴 소원 (Birthday Wish)” on October 19 at 6 p.m. KST. The group will then return to Incheon's Inspire Arena from November 27 to 29 for encore concerts of its first world tour, EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER.
