DPR IAN Draws 10,000 in Taipei With 'The Show' and 'Mood' Debut Set

Singer DPR IAN played his first festival stage in Taipei, performing before a crowd of about 10,000 fans.

He took the stage on the 27th at Dajia Riverside Park in Taipei, Taiwan, as part of "KRAZY Music Festival 2026."

DPR IAN built the set around his own music and performance style. His vocals, cinematic staging, and choreography with backup dancers pulled the crowd in from the first song.

He is not a stranger to Taipei. He met local fans there in 2022 on "The REGIME World Tour" and again in 2024 on "The Dream Reborn World Tour." This weekend marked his first time playing the city in a festival format rather than a solo show.

The performance moved between songs with short interludes and moments of talking to the crowd. DPR IAN opened with "Intro" and "Welcome to the Otherside," moved through "Don't Go Insane," and then played "So Beautiful," "Mood," and "Calico" in turn. The mix of live vocals and visual staging carried the mood and story of each song.

He also performed "The Show," a single released earlier this year in April, along with unreleased new material. He closed the set with "Nerves" and "Ballroom Extravaganza," building a 10-song run that felt closer to a solo concert than a festival slot.

The stage experience DPR IAN gained from two world tours showed through the set. Tying music, visuals, and performance into one piece has become a signature of his live shows.

DPR IAN returned to activity in April with the single "The Show." He has been sharing works-in-progress at his live shows. In June, he teamed up with IQOS on "Mood (Remix Version)," a new arrangement of his signature song "Mood." In August, he released "No Mercy," an original soundtrack song for an SBS drama. His work has moved across music, brand collaborations, and soundtrack projects.

He was also recently named the winner in the Indonesian male vocalist category at the 2026 Brand of the Year Awards, hosted by the Korea Consumer Forum. Between his first Taipei festival set and his recognition in Indonesia, DPR IAN continues to widen the reach of a career built on both music and visuals.
