wave to earth Takes a Bigger Bite of the Big Apple With Sold-Out Radio City Show

wave to earth is getting comfortable on some of the biggest stages of its career.

The Korean band performed to a sold-out crowd at New York's Radio City Music Hall on September 29 as part of its ongoing 'the pieces tour.'

The New York stop follows another sellout at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, with wave to earth moving into larger venues for its latest North American run.

At Radio City, the band mixed established favorites with material from its recently released second full-length album "bad pieces."

The album expands beyond the lo-fi jazz foundations associated with much of wave to earth's earlier work, incorporating new instrumentation and a broader range of sounds. Those changes also gave the band new material to bring into the larger-scale live production of 'the pieces tour.'

The Radio City performance marks another step up in venue size for wave to earth as the band continues building its touring presence in North America.

The tour will continue through cities including Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Dallas and Toronto before heading to Asia.

wave to earth is also scheduled to bring 'the pieces tour' to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Seoul.
