Park Jin-young Wins Praise for Thoughtful Gesture Toward Kim Yoo-jung at "100 Days of Deception" Event

Park Jin-young is drawing attention for a small, considerate gesture toward his co-star Kim Yoo-jung at a drama press event. During the photo session, he quietly suggested swapping positions so Kim Yoo-jung's face would be more visible with her hairstyle that day.

The press conference for the new tvN Saturday-Sunday drama "100 Days of Deception" was held on Sept. 29 at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Yongsan district, Seoul. Director Yoo In-sik attended alongside cast members Kim Yoo-jung, Park Jin-young, Kim Hyun-joo, Lee Moo-saeng, and Jin Seon-kyu.

Park Jin-young and Kim Yoo-jung, who play opposite each other in the series, posed for two-shots during the photo session and showed an easy, friendly dynamic. It was there that his quiet gesture stood out.

Kim Yoo-jung arrived with her short hair swept to one side. Park Jin-young made a small motion toward her hairstyle, then suggested on the spot that they switch positions so her face would be more visible in the photos. The two moved naturally into their new spots without making a show of it or disrupting the event. The moment was small, but the gesture drew attentions from fans online, who praised him for noticing and acting on it first.

"100 Days of Deception" is a 100-day spy romance about Gyeongseong's top pickpocket, who becomes a secret agent, and an elite interpreter at the Japanese Government-General of Korea as they meet at the heart of enemy territory. Kim Yoo-jung plays Lee Ga-kyung, the pickpocket turned agent, while Park Jin-young plays Sato Hideo, the Government-General interpreter.

Asked about his romantic chemistry with Kim Yoo-jung, Park Jin-young said, "On a scale of 100, I'd give it 1,000." The drama premieres on Oct. 10.
