The agency behind KEYVITUP, a boy group produced by singer and actor Kim Jaejoong, has apologized after an overnight music video shoot near homes sparked complaints over noise.

On Oct. 1, KEYVITUP's agency, iNKODE, said, "We would like to apologize to residents who experienced inconvenience and disturbance from the noise during the recent KEYVITUP music video shoot."

An online user posted a video of the scene, saying an idol group's music video shoot had caused a noise disturbance. According to the user, filming continued past 3 a.m., with speakers and a megaphone generating loud noise. The shoot ended after a resident called the police emergency number, 112. The group was later identified as KEYVITUP, prompting the agency to issue an apology.

"As filming continued late into the night, we failed to give sufficient consideration to the surrounding environment and the potential disruption to residents' daily lives," the agency said. "We take this matter seriously and will visit the affected residents and responsibly follow through on further measures."

The agency added, "We will also work with the production company to conduct more thorough checks before filming and closely review filming hours and on-site noise management to prevent similar incidents from happening again."

KEYVITUP is a five-member group that debuted in April. It is iNKODE's first boy group produced by Kim Jaejoong, and all members contributed to the lyrics of the debut album's title track. The group is preparing for a comeback next month.
