TWICE's Chaeyoung Fires Back at Fan Who Insulted Her Tattoos
TWICE's Chaeyoung has directly responded to a disparaging message about her tattoos.
Chaeyoung recently received a message through a paid fan communication platform criticizing her tattoos and suggesting that her mother must have been upset about them. In response, Chaeyoung revealed that her mother had actually accompanied her when she got her first tattoo, writing, "I went to get my first tattoo with my mom."
She also reassured fans who expressed concern over the message, saying, "I've heard things like this so many times that it doesn't bother me anymore." Her response suggested that she has grown accustomed to receiving similar comments about her tattoos over the years.
When another fan criticized the sender for paying to use a fan communication service only to leave an insulting message and told Chaeyoung that she did not need to respond, the singer explained why she chose to do so. "I replied to embarrass them," she said.
Another fan jokingly told the sender to "save your money, like Tzuyu said," prompting Chaeyoung to respond with laughter. The remark appeared to poke fun at the fact that the sender had paid for the service only to send a disparaging message.
Screenshots of the exchange later spread across online communities and social media, drawing attention to Chaeyoung's revelation that her mother had accompanied her for her first tattoo, as well as her unfazed response to the criticism.
