NCT WISH Samples The Carpenters for Dreamy New R&B Track

NCT WISH will explore a more sentimental sound on its upcoming fourth EP, "I SPY," with two R&B tracks highlighting a different side of the group.

"Hubble Time" is a groove-driven R&B track that puts greater focus on the members' vocals. Written by KENZIE, the song compares the idea of everlasting love to the scale of the universe, using the astronomical concept of Hubble time as its central motif.

Another B-side, "Like A Dream," shifts into R&B ballad territory. The track samples The Carpenters' "Close to You," building on the original song's gentle melody with layered instrumentation.

Its lyrics look back on precious moments shared with someone as if they were part of a dream, while also expressing the simple wish for that person to sleep well at the end of the day.

The two songs add a softer contrast to the confident, energetic tracks previously previewed from the EP.

"I SPY" will feature six tracks in total and arrive Oct. 12.
